KJC OPERATING COMPANY PLANT PERFORMANCE MODEL
Here is one of eight user interface screens designed for the KJC Operating Company Plant Perfomance Model. Detailed control over input of historic, current, and planned plant physical characteristics allows careful planning of natural gas use and maintenance operations for optimization of overall plant operating revenue.
The model performs a detailed simulation of solar field, boiler, and power block performance. It is used in planning gas use for the remaining months of the year to optimize revenue within the parameters set within a power purchase agreement. It is also used to analyze solar field heat losses and their impact on revenues. Analyses can be done on a monthly or calendar year basis, using year to date collected solar and weather data, along with a "standard" solar and weather data base for projections.
